If you found that missing $162 Million Lottery ticket...

what would you do?

Keep it?

Return it?

Offer to split the winnings?

Just accept a reward?

Some woman in the midwest purchased a lottery ticket and it apparently blew away or something when she spilled her purse outside the store by her car. She didn't realize it until her winning lottery numbers were drawn for $162 Million Dollars!!

According to the news her story is credible - she gave the date, appox time of the ticket purchase and the store it was purchased.

Legally, anyone that finds the ticket and cash it in for themselves since you only have to be the bearer of the ticket.

If it were reversed I think thats what that person would do with me

Tough one - no idea what I would do. If I claimed the prize, I would be afraid the person who lost the ticket would be after me!!

I heard this on the news this morning and FH was like Honey! Didn't that happen to me too? I lost the winning ticket, remember?

Don't drop your lotto ticket near him ladies, you'll never see it again!

I'd feel guilty keeping it though.

They just had the real winner on the news. It seems like the 'lost ticket' story may be a scam.

I just saw the same thing on Fox News. The 'real' winner was giving a statement that she played those same numbers for the past two years. She'd play them every time the jackpot got very high. The other woman who said her ticket blew away was apparently lying.

If I found a lottery ticket blowing around in the wind, and it ended up being the winning ticket, I'm not sure what I would do. I guess I'd want to take the money and run. I think I'd try that first, and if the other person came forward and could prove it was their ticket, then I think I would turn it back over to them. I guess it's hard to say unless you're in that situation.

I don't think I could ever in good conscience keep the ticket....but a reward would be nice

I hope the woman who turned it in was the original buyer...it sounds like she's telling the truth.

too many know that she lost it now so it would be too suspicious.

besides they said that she was the only winner.

i guess i could say she is lying but since i dont live in ohio and was never there in my life..i'm sure they could prove I wasnt the real winner.

if i got a reward, great. if not i don't know if i'd be that upset. depends on the circumstances.
