If you got an invitation...

in the mail tomorrow, with an RSVP of 9/21...would you think you were on the B list?

Seriously, some people who are also in the wedding planning process may think of it, but I don't think others will pay it any mind...

haha..depends, was this before or after i learned of LIW?

honestly, i think most people are shocked to get them 2-3 months ahead of time...i think b/c we tend to send out birthday party invites much closer to the dates, people somehow equate that to wedding invites.

i wouldn't sweat it. our B list never knew.

Yes, I might Think that.....But I would be glad that I got an Invite ...no Matter how late it was! I would be there!! I love to go to weddings....and Feel its an honor to be asked even its the last minute!

Yes, I was guilty of that also. I sent it on the correct date and had put an invalid address. What about including a little note inside?? Or a phone call 'sorry...blahblahblah'

it's best to play dumb later...'the post office lost about 10 of them....' or 'they sent 5 back for postage. FH must have missed a few...' or something that says 'you were at the top of my list all along, stupid postal system.'

actually, it is a stupid postal system! Two of my guests live in the city around the corner from one another...one got theirs two days after i mailed it and the other one got hers a week and a half later! I have no idea why.

I MIGHT consider the fact that the invitation got lost... but only if the bride or groom called to say that.

i think it depends on who the person is...how close are you too the person?!

it could of gotten lost or maybe invites went out late.

yeh, might think it got lost..
