If you had BH Contractions, please come in....

What did yours feel like? I heard they aren't supposed to hurt and that it's just like a 'tightening' of the uterus.

Can you describe them?

I had an appt yesterday and I told my Dr that I've been feeling AF-like cramps for the past week or so. They've been very mild, milder than my regular AF cramps were. I get about 2 or 3 a day. But they've been getting more frequent and stronger... the Doc said 'Oh, that's Braxton Hicks'... but they don't feel like what I've read at all.

I got my first BH contraction about a week and a half ago. My whole tummy tightened and it felt like REALLY bad stomach pains all over. It lasted for a minute and then it stopped. I haven't gotten any more since that one time.

I had BAD BH contractions, starting at 20 weeks. At first they were jus the tightening, no pain. THen at about 28 weeks they started feeling like menstrual cramps, and that always worried my dr. for some reason. I went into Preterm labor shortly after that, and they never really went away until I gave birth...just got more intense each day!
Sometimes I would get BH contractions that were timeable - every 5 minutes for 4 hours straight sometimes..
