I didn't wear a blusher. And it was kind of windy that day, you can see my fingertip veil blowing in some of my pics!!

I'm wearing a blusher...one of FH's requests. He has so little and it's his day too so I had to let him have it.

no blusher for me, or veil at all actually! i feel like a jerk w/ a veil on. its just not me and doesnt match the more casual tone we want at our wedding. not to mention i dont want that thing flying in my face if its windy.
and as for post below, i def dont need a veil to feel like a bride! just my preference

I'm going with a small birdcage veil. It shouldn't move too much at all.

Re: If you had or if your having an outdoor ceremony
I am going with a long veil-cathedral length, semi mantilla. I say semi because it has the lace but a blusher and doesnt frame my face the way a traditional one does. I wasn't going to wear the blusher but my dad wants to lift it and its a small thing. We will pray for no wind lol. Besidesm it will look great in pictures and as someone else said, it does make me feel more complete of a bride. Of course I WILL be yanking that sucker off during the reception!

I have heard that you can attach very small clear fishing weights to the bottom edge of your veil to keep it from flying up in the wind. Not sure if it would work on the blusher, or how noticible they would be.
