to have your dress in earlier than 2-3 months prior to the wedding would you? Just curiuos what the pros/cons are!
Edited to add: I could have it in by December or wait until April of 2006!!

Yes, I'd rather have my dress in early and know that it's safe then wondering whether or not it's gonna come in on time. Plus that leaves more time for alterations!

Yes! You can always leave it in the salon, but having it in earlier means that if something goes wrong and they ordered the wrong dress/size, they have time to fix the mistake.

I would rather have it just in case... I don;t want to be frantic waiting for it, we will all have so many things on our minds as it comes closer to our big day and the gown is something I don't want to worry about.

Absolutely! I want it in as early as possible. You don't want to leave anything until the last minute.

Re: If you had the option. .
I actually gave them a month earlier for my dress. They are ordering the 'Feb 06' gowns this month, so it works out that my dress is getting ordered immediately.
I'd rather know it's in.

I don't want my dress. I am afraid that I will loose all self control and prance around in it for future husband!!!

So long as the salon will hold it for you, have it come in early.

I would like it early but would be a little worried if I lost some weight 2-3 months prior
