if you had the option to stay home tomorrow ...

would you?
we got an email that we can stay home if we do not feel safe driving on unclear roads.
im conflicted. i have major anxiety driving on a regular day, should i use my last 'use it or lose it' personal hours of 2010 on this? or save it to take thursday off???

I'd use it. It supposed to be a lot warmer as the week goes on so it wont be so bad after tomorrow.

nope no plans for thursday. just was going to extend my weekend, nothing special. but i havent been on the roads today. so i was curious.

I heard all the main roads are clear but I am nervous tomorrow morning everyone will be driving super slow and it will take me forever

Take the day!! I'm off all week but FH is staying home because he's weary of all the other drivers out there (plus his commute on a normal day is 1hr and a half...)

I say take off tomorrow! I have off all week from work already, but if I had the option to take off tomorrow especially since the roads won't be that great, I'd take it!

I already called my boss and said i'm staying home. so did my mom & brother.

i was out driving today. the roads are fine. the highways are even better. i'd save the vacation day!

lol. i am going to play it by ear. i live on a fairly undriven on street, and unfort it never gets plowed. theres about 5-600 stretch of road b4 i get to a semi-main road.
how is the service road (LIE)??

Did you take the day? I left super duper early this morning and it was fine but I did that cause I am also afraid to be on the road with everyone else. I work by Roosevelt Field and the mall is horrible! The ring road is a disaster so if anyone wants to shop today I suggest staying away from this mall! There is def going to be accidents here today. At least our building across the street the parking lot is a lot better than that road! I would take the day though...hope you did!
