A flower arch for both the ceremony and reception ( it would be behind the sweet heart table going 'over' us)
or a Jazz quartet for cocktail hour and maybe during dinner as well

I'd pick the flowers...b/c I LOVE flowers. Like Jazz too, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick the flowers.

hmmmm... I LOVE flower arches.. but I'm thinking the Jazz quartet, because people will really notice that,and I love jazz too..

That has been the hard part! lol I dont think we can really afford both... but they are both something I have always wanted... the only difference really is that the flowers will be in tuns or pics whereas the music is over that night.. you know what I mean?

ETA: do you want to remember how pretty the flower arch was...or how much fun you and your guests had with the jazz music. I dont think the guests will remember the flower arch as much as the jazz music. JMO.....

How long would the jazz band play for?? I wanted to get something for our cocktail hour too. But someone told me that I should save my money because people are busy eating, talking and mingleing that no one would appreciate it. I am not saying thats the case everywhere, but I remember when I went into my cocktail hour for 20 minutes at my wedding and it was so loud in there with people talking, you never would have heard the person I wanted to book!!
Maybe you could make the arch yourself?? I am serious. CVS sells those arches around Christmas time for like $20, I have one, you can even have it, just needs to be spraypainted. Then you could go to michaels and get fake flowers, ivy and different flowers to match your colors. Or order some flowers from the florist. OMG, I would love to help make it!!! Sorry, I get excited sometimes. I miss all the planning!!

I would say flower arch, if you look at my pictures, you see how many of your pics actually have the arch in it. Every single ceremony pic does and the whole video. Its a long portion of your video too.
Plus, the flower arc will be in all your pictures, but who the heck remembers what music was playing at the wedding you went to a few months ago?
