Did people buy things from your registry???

Yes pretty much everything we got was from our registry...my advice don't let people know you are registered unless you def want gifts.

We didn't want to register for a lot of things yet but people wanted to buy is stuff from the registry

we registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond for things we could use now and the bonus is if you return it Bed, Bath and Beyond will give you cash back!

We are choosing not to register until after our party b/c we would prefer cash gifts, which I think is generally the standard (unless you are registered).

we got a lot of stuff from the bbb registry. we liked it that way. at least we got stuff that we wanted. there was no guaranttee that we would've gotten money

Thats true...I think some people prefer to give gifts and some prefer to give money

We got cash and gifts from our registry. We didn't tell anyone we registered, we did that because Macys has such a great bridal club deal we wanted to get an early start and accumulate credit since it was a long engagement but it worked out really well when it came to the e-party.

I didnt register because I felt I didnt need or have a place for anything just yet. We were engaged in 02/04 and had e-party 7/04.
We knew about our long engagement.
I got lukcy..I mainly got cash and a few gifts.
All came in handy!

We got cash and items off of the registry! Some people are more comfortable giving gifts.

I didnt register for the e-party... because I figured you get alot of those kinds of things at your bridal shower...plus we originally werent planning on moving in together until a few months b4 the wedding...

Had I known we would be having a baby, and moving in together alot sooner, I wouldve registered... but now its too late...the party is in like 2 weeks....

I guess it all depends on your situation..
