If You have a Bridesmaid Dress To Sell, I May Want To Buy It!! Please Help!
I am hoping you ladies can help me out .. I am the MOH for this wedding and am in need of a dress!
Yup, that's right...the wedding really is in 1 month. Long story -- I'll give more details when we write the review. I am looking for anyone who may have a bridemaid dress to sell or knows someone who may be able to. Since I am MOH, I know I can get away with wearing something different.
What I really need: * Formal length * Chiffon fabric or similar (No Satin) * Color anywhere ranging from aqua to turquoise (Perhaps even teal) * The original dress I ordered is from Venus Bridal - Bella Maids - Size 12 (because I got a 39' booty!) I wear size 4 street clothes.
Here's a pic of the dress the bridesmaids are wearing - We ordered it in Hot Turk
I've been looking on ebay for something suitable. And then I remembered how resourceful LIW brides are so I am hoping someone can help. TIA!

I'm sorry I don't have anything like that. However, have you tried calling bridal stores in the area and seeing if they have any sample BM dresses that they could sell you? They usually have some discontinued dresses, it's worth a shot! Good luck!

Yea try bridal world in baldwin.
When I was there once there was a BM emergency, and someone tried to buy a sample BM dress on short notice

Try Macys or Bloomingdales. They may have something you can get right away that would work with your colors.

David's bridal has chiffon dresses that are fit pretty well and you can buy off the rack.

Def look for an off the rack dress.
I know overstock.com usually has similar things to that dress.

Thanks so far for your suggestions....I will definetely look into them. I am waiting for a dress I bought on ebay that I am expecting this week. Keep your fingers crossed for me

They are not the cause for why we need a MOH dress in the month before the wedding, but they have made a few mistakes already in the ordering of our BM dresses. They are in the process of rectifying the errors. i just want to avoid buying anything else from them.
Thanks for all your suggestions...i am waiting for a dress from ebay today or tomorrow. If i dont like it, then it's off to the stores!
