IF YOU HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT READ THIS

I got this e-mail this morning and it's totally FAKE. I never use click thru links for these types of 'updates' and instead go to my actual account through traditional means to see if it's real.

Once I did click the e-mail link (after sending a fraud alert to PayPal) I typed in a totally fake e-mail address and password. Guess what, it let me log in and then I got a form asking for updated banking and credit card info.

DO NOT EVER CLICK ON LINKS LIKE THIS TO UPDATE FINANCIAL INFORMATION.

The e-mail account this came to is not even my PayPal registered account.

I get these all the time. I also get ones stating I added someone to my account.

I always forward them to [email protected] and they always email me back saying it was a fake. I would NEVER give out info over email. If I really thought there was a problem I would call the # for paypal on their site.

Thanks for the warning!! Some people out there are unreal!

i have had my credit card number stolen twice just from using paypal, i know it's paypal because now that im not registered on there my credit card number is not stolen. It's always goods to check your balance, especially before you get a bill that way you can settle it easier.
