mine is not complete solitare..but my band would work well with a solitare,,..
how does it look at the bottom (where there are no diamonds) is it bulky / wide

Its not bulky at all...I wish I got diamonds going all the way around though. The band always turns and the diamonds are always facing on the bottom..its very annoying!!

mine e ring is not a solitaire but here are my rings, on the band the diamonds stop like the e ring and someday we will make it into an eternity band....but i love the band and i think it would look great with a solitaire e ring

A friend of mine had a solitare princess cut e-ring and her wedding band is full diamands all around...the diamonds in the band have a round cut but the band is so thin and the diamonds are so close together that you can't really tell whether they're round or square. It looks GREAT together!

I found a ring that I like. It's a channel seating with diamonds on top only. The problem is that the bottom part is so thick!!
Can a jeweler make it thinner on the bottom? I also, like the princess cut eternity prong setting band, but FH hates the look.....
Can you take a picture of the bottom of our ring (the part inside the palm?

i have a princess cut and my band has crooked bars on teh sides with rows of 3 round diamonds...i couldnt find anything to go with it. i actually bought a channel set band and months later looked at it again and hated it. i'm working with Elsa showroom (they are a vendor on here). they are making me a ring from scratch to match my ring.
depending on your budget you may want to look into that. it doesnt hurt to call them either to give them a budget and see if they can help you elsa

I think if you're having it made the jeweler should certainly be able to taper the bottom if you find it too thick?

I don't have a pic of the wedding band, but my e-ring was a single solitaire, princess cut, white gold band. I got a simple wedding band b/c i couldn't do too much b/c it would make my e-ring look weird.so I jus got a regular white gold band, with diamonds in the channel, but it doesn't go all the way around. It's mostly the just the top of my finger. I like simple, so it works for me.
