I think they are put on this board due to the traffic it receives.....

I think that all the time... but I can also understand this board gets a lot more traffic!
Whatever... it doesn't bother me

because BHB gets more traffic than NWR does!! MUCH MORE!

I know!! I don't why I'm so cranky about the wrong posts on the wrong boards!!

But maybe if they were posted on the right boards, those boards would start getting more action!!

You are probably right about that. It seems like most of the newer people stay over here on BHB. When I first joined thats what I did also.... as they become addicted they might venture over there to NWR

I took me a while before I even know that there were boards other than BHB!

I hope I don't sound rude or harsh, because I don't mean it that way at all but..

As far as I can tell, this is a free web board, and it's very purpose is Brides helping Brides.

There have been a few brides who post things about their personal crisis, their children, vents about in laws, etc.

We need to remember that not everything is wedding related, weither the post starts with NWR or not. This board has the highest traffic, and will get the most responses.

For some it's easiest to gripe, vent, question in an open forum to keep your everyday relationships drama-free.

That's just my two cents, I hope I didn't offend.

I agree. I know this gets more seen but I just stick to bridal stuff on the bhb and don't bother to read the nwr stuff.

Sorry to disappoint but NOT so free. This web board gets regulated and posts taken away when not in the context of LIW regulations.

No, not at all!!! I shouldn't have gotten involved!!!!!!!! sorry Thank you all for helping us..

You know what I have to say about it, We concider you girls friends, and when we have something exciting to say, we want to put it where we know everyone is.. I guess in a silly sense, i just feel more comfortable in the BHB section

Are you saying that the brides do not want any input from people that have gone through the whole process?

These threads always make me laugh.

Why do you care where people post?

If you are not interested don't read it!

As someone who is definitely guilty of doing this, I will say that it's because I know not everyone goes on NWR and I may want the input of more people. I post on NWR at times as well. Personally, if I'm not in the mood to read NWR posts on BHB, I skip over them. No one forces anyone to click on a thread if the topic doesn't interest them.

So now everyone is competing for Ron's job....I think he does a great job in patrolling these boards for what cannot be said and pulling the posts away here at LIW....I don't think JZ meant it like that. She's just trying to make a point out of people posting everywhere..it's just this one gets more traffic and more opinions...
And Wendy is a sweetheart...she probably just very organized and wants to see things on the boards they belong to.....
Now....can we just let Ron(I think that's his name) worry about what's posted.....

ETA>>See I mentioned about 'patrolling' and Jax is declaring herself 'guilty' already....

I see that now but as a NW that has gone out of my way to help brides both on and off the boards, I wanted to clarify what she meant - which it turns out was nothing.

(i meant that in a good way)
