If you never see your dress in magazines...

do you wonder why? I never see mine and I want to know why!

I never see mine either, but mine is from the Demetrios Collection from 2 years ago, so I chalk it up to that!

The only time I ever saw mine was from the chest up. I have never seen it anywhere. I think b/c it is exclusive to Macys (Demetrios Platinum Collection).

Hey, it's new to me!

Same here - mine was from the 2003 couture collection and by the time I had ordered it was discontinued...so I basically never saw it in a magazine.

Me neither, but I think mine might be from an older collection. I don't really care, I still LOVE it, and that means that people haven't seen it a million times.

My dress is made by Henry Roth, the Judge on the Style network.
He does not advertise his dresses in magazines. Not sure why.

I actually am turned off ny the goens int he mags, b/c I want to have a dress noone else would have

Mine is from an older collection, I actually found it in some old magazines a former bride gave me. I haven't seen it in any of the recent ones though.

I couldn't find my dress in magazines or online, I called the store the manager said thats because my dress is part of 'Mori Lee Blu Collection'.

That means they have very limited of that style in few stores, sort of like the 'limited edition'.

I never see mine in magazines and prefer it that way. The funniest thing happened yesterday, though. My mom had a fitting for her dress at the designer's showroom (not the same designer for my dress). I saw a picture of my dress tacked to a wall in the showroom! The designer told me she put that up for inspiration because she loves the dress! Needless to say, she made my day!!

Mine was actually in the Martha Stewart Weddings magazine from this past summer. I owned the magazine for about a month or so, never even noticed the dress as a dress I liked, and after I actually bought my dress, I just so happened to flip through the magazine one day and was like 'omg that's my dress!'
It's a two page centerfold and everything and I never even wowed me to save the page or anything!

I had tried on a private label gown that wasn't even advertised on their website. They told me it was an exclusive dress or something and that it wouldn't be advertised.

I can't find, nor have I seen, a pic of my dress. It's also a Demetrios but I don't know which collection or what year. I'm lucky I remembered to ask who the designer was, I was so nervous while shopping!
