Did you tell the bridal shop your REAL WEDDING DATE OR DID YOU PAD IT???
I didn;t order yet but all the places I went I told them the correct date..is that bad???

I gave them the correct date...My dress was already received but had to be shipped back out...I haven't heard of anyone encountering any problems with getting their dress in time

i gave them real date because there is so much time between when i ordered and wedding... it takes 8 months to come in, the place is reputable so i cant imagine them screwing it up...BUT never say never ...YIKES dont make me even think about it

I gave them the correct date. I did not even think to pad it. That is not a bad idea!

I gave them the right date! They said my dress will be in 9/05 & my wedding isn't until 7/06.
I think for BM dresses I may fudge the dates a bit

My date is 6/10/06, I told them my wedding was 4/22/06. I was nervous because they told me the earliest it would be in was February 06. I don't know how true that was, but I wasn't taking any chances!

I told them my correct date. I figured I am ordering so far in advance it will definitely be here before June 06.

I gave them the correct date. I haven't ordered my dress yet, but I've shopped around. I think we have so much time, that it doesn't really matter. If we were under a year, then I think it would be important to pad it a little.

I told them the right date the place that I ordered my dress from told me that they pad the date to the manufacturer to make sure that they get the dress in with plenty of time to spare

They made me put a fake date 3 mths prior to the date! They told me Eve dresses take forever!!!

I told them that the date was 2 weeks earlier than it really is. My MOH told me to do that. I kind of felt bad lying. The saleswoman kept asking questions about the wedding and I had to remind myself I told her we are getting married in March.
