If you ordered your dress already...how long before you found the one??
I have a feeling I will go back to Macy's soon enough and order the first one that I loved!! Thats just the way I am

I went one day with my mom in October & tried on some dresses & fell in love with one of the first dresses I tried on....Then I went back with my MOH & mom to get her opinion & ended up ordering the dress in November

I actually ordered mien the first day out and I think thats why I keep thinking I did it too fast. I love the dress but I think if I would have went back a few times before ordering it Id feel a little better

Just remember, once you order your dress, don't look at another one bc sometimes you can second guess yourself!!! Once I knew my dress was 'the one' I just ordered it!!! I haven't looked back once!

I ended up ordering the first one I tried on. I went to other places though and tried on a bunch more, but nothing matched the feeling of 'the one'

I looked all day on monday and found some that i liked, not loved. we finished looking at caterers early yesterday and made one more appointment and found 'the dress'
I must've tried on 2 or 3 dozen dresses though. it's exhausting!

The one I ended up ordering was not the one that I first fell in love with. However, if they did not show me the dress that I did end up getting ...the first one would have definately been it. I tried it on in the begining of Jan, wen tback tried on different style dresses and could not get that very first one out of my head...I knew I loved it...until they showed me the Maggie dress...then I spent an hour and half contemplating between the two...very HARD decision..but I LOVE my choice and can't wait to wear it...

I got mine during my second shopping trip. I did end up having to decide between a few, but the one I chose just had a little something extra, while the others were beautiful, but plain. I find I haven't been second guessing myself because even before shopping nothing in the bridal magazines really jumped out at me. Actually, the absolute first dress I tried on (made of Thai silk. Mmm.) I obsessed over for a couple days, but I had to move on because it was too $$.

I only went shopping once. I went only to try on dresses and I asked the bridal consultant if they had a dress I saw in a magazine. Well they did and I Loved it as well as my mom and everyone surrounding me. My mom said why wait just order it. So I did. Plus the bridal consultant was soooo nice and helpful. I like good service.

I went to one shop. I knew that the dress was THE ONE when I saw it the rack. My MOH said when I put the right dress on I would feel a lightening bolt. Well, I sort of did. It was the third dress I tried on. I kept trying on dresses to be sure. After 9 or so dresses, I put the 3rd dress back on and I was positive that it was the right dress.
I also agree that once you pick a dress, stop looking at dresses. There are SO MANY gorgeous dresses out there. You don't want to second guess yourself.

I'm going to my 7th bridal shop tomorrow (this one promises they have my dress in white...everywhere else just has ivory), but I'm pretty positive I'm ordering it from a different shop. I don't want to say where I'm going, but they haven't gotten the best reviews on this site! Also, the girl I spoke to yesterday was not very friendly.
I think I tried on about 15 dresses before I was sure about the style that I wanted, then it just came down to the particular dress in that style. It's so funny...it's not at all the type of dress I had in mind before I set out shopping! I am so glad that I got so much help from all of the different salespeople; they really confirmed what each other (and my mom and sister) said about the right style for me.

Ive gone to one place to try on ....and found a dress i LOVE!!!!but im gonna keep looking....she said i have about 2 months b4 the dress might be discontinuted....so im gonna use those 2 months!!!

me too!!
I actually found it at the second shop, but bought it when I found it again at the third shop! (It's FATE)
