Link doesn't work for me ... but I know, we would use a picnic backpack for when we go to see the bands at the gazebo in Northport in the summer

Re: If you received this a a gift, would you use it?

Okay, well, not sure I would need silverware, etc (we usually bring PBJ!!) ... but I still think it's a nice gift idea for the right person.

I think it is cute. but not very practical. How would you really secure the food? In tupperware? But, I do like it

I really like that!! I'm not sure if we'd use it very much, but I think it is a wonderful gift for an outdoorsy type of person

Re: If you received this a a gift, would you use it?

Sorry, fixed the link.

I received this as a wedding present from a co-worker. I think it is a really cute idea, but I don't really know of any place where we would go on picincs. We do like the outdoors, but where we hike, there aren't picnic grounds.

I WANT to use it, but where can I go with it? You can't take wine to the beach, and we dont' go to the beach really since we live inWestchester.

We camp once a year, but bring a whole car load of stuff & use paper plates. I guess we could bring it then, but obviously our food wouldn't all fit in there.

I also already own a similar thing that is just for wine. (Christmas gift)

Re: If you received this a a gift, would you use it?

We have one but it's more of a basket we throw some steaks in there, veggies, seasonings, wine and would drive down to this park of the Gulf and would BBQ and have a picnic.

We used it all the time. We had an apartment back then and weren't allowed to have a grill so it was perfect for the two of us to just take it down to the park and meet us after work!

Re: If you received this a a gift, would you use it?

YES!! My moms good friend got me that for my shower and filled it up with stuff like, wine, salt and pepper shakers, hand wipes, etc.

We still haven't had a chance to use it. But, I'm def. taking it out this spring.

You could go for a picnic at the Kensico Dam- in season they have concerts and festivals, but I just go their to walk with my dog or read a book. Also, the grassy area at Oakland Park in Rye is good for picnics. You could do it on a night that Playland has fireworks.

We went to the Kensico Dam once & thought it was creepy. But maybe because it was a yucky weather day & there wern't many people there.

I've never heard of Oakland Park, but I went to Rye once & thought it was a cute area. I''ll have to look into it in the spring! Thanks.

Re: If you received this a a gift, would you use it?

I think it's cute but honestly, no I'd probably never use it. I have to say I'm surprised someone gave that to you for a wedding present. A shower I could see but it's a little bit odd for a wedding present IMO
