If you went to an all-inclusive for your HM...

Where did you go? Would you go back? How was the room, service, food and drinks?

Sandals St. Lucia...it was great. We stayed in a regular room. We went back a few years later and they upgraded us to a suite.

yes I would go back
room- great- I had on of the best
Service- great- they we very nice
Food- the worst part- we went into town for dinner- but we would have done that anyway
Drinks- great! strongs, fun things to try and plenty of them!

room- great- I had on of the best
Service- great- they we very nice
Food- the worst part- we went into town for dinner- but we would have done that anyway
Drinks- great! strongs, fun things to try and plenty of them!

Same as Beth! Food was definitely lacking a bit, and the choices weren't as varied as I would have liked, but the Rui was beautiful, and our room more than made up for the food!!

the room was ok, nothing grand, but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room. the service, food & drinks were TOP NOTCH!!!!!!

How was the room, service, food and drinks?

Room - Gorgeous! We had a huge Honeymoon suite, overlooking the ocean.
Service - Excellent.
Food - Delicious. Great restaurants: Japanese, Steak, Buffet (different every night) and Italian (definitely needed a reservation here).
Drinks - Great. I drank a few Miami Vice every day. Yum! Also, they re-stocked our fridge with beer, soda and bottled water every day.

We went to Sandles, Ocho Rios.
Island, beautiful HOT, HOT, HOT
Rooms, once they took us out of the 'safari' and put us in a regular room it was beautiful
The food, ehh I have had better, DH and myself questioned some meats, meaning what is this really?? I would go back and try Sandals Whitehouse.

I guess a cruise counts...

Princess Cruise line to Southern Carribean (st thomas, st marteen, san juan-start/end, antigua, st lucia and one other island)

Great time... just had to buy drinks
Sun, relax, we had a balcony room (not need as we were rarely in there but it was our HM)

Cruiseing is the way to go as there is so much entertainment around and you get to go to more then 1 location.

I went to El Dorado.. No I wouldn't go back because I heard it had so much damage...
But I would def. go all inclusive again. It was so nice to not worry about $$

We went to St. Lucia from Jan 6 - Jan 13th and stayed at Anse Chastanet in Soufriere (South West St. Lucia - right near the Jalousie Plantation - where another LIW bride honeymooned a few weeks before us).

GO TO ST. LUCIA!!!!!! It's so beautiful and the people are the friendliest!

The north end of the island has the majority of the hotels (the Sandals hotels, LeSport, etc.) I personally prefer the south end of the island because it is MUCH more rural and you have amazing views of the Pitons - the 2 mountains that come right out of the carribean sea.

Anse Chastanet is paradise. We are active people - but your vacation can be as active or as laid back as you'd like - We chilled on the beach, biked through the jungle, watched a sunset on a private yacht, kayaked, sailed, snorkeled, scuba dived, hiked, went to a volcano, and ate and drank to our heart's content.

How was the room? Beautiful and very clean- something I'm very picky about.

Service ? Couldnt ask for better service, everyone there is amazing!

food and drinks? Excellent! No complaints in that department either.

I highly recommend RH!

Royal Hideaway is definitely on my list of places to visit but I really don't think I can go back to Mexico anytime soon after what happened with Hurricane Wilma. I think we are looking more into St. Lucia/Aruba/DR/St.John/Antigua. So many wonderful choices.

Cabo has NOT been hit by any hurricanes- and most likely wont be- they only get 3 inches of rain a year- it's a desert

Cabo is the southern most tip of baha california

We went to El Dorado Royale in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and I absolutely would go back. The rooms were beautiful and the food was amazing.

I'm pretty sure they have cleaned it all up again. I get the email updates, and I think it's all finished.
