After 7 years of being with the same person, I have found things getting a little too 'routine' but once in a while when we go out and come home a little tipsy, it is so exciting all over again. No reason not to have a bottle of wine handy...

i used to meet my man at a bar and pretend like we were meeting for the first time...hahaha works like a charm when u go home with this 'stranger'

For halloween DH dressed up as Howard Stern, so I made a 'scores girl' costume, which included a blonde wig... well, let's just say that everything except the wig went into storage That definitely spiced things up a little!

Hmmm.. I think there's the change of scenery motif that I have seen work for a lot of couples. Just get in the car and drive. Don't have a destination planned. And don't tell your partner. Then pick out a hotel somewhere and spend the night.
When in doubt, change the scene.
Spontaniety and surprise are the best things to combat 'the routine.'

I just told DH we should go away for a night. Most weekends the boys are not with us on one night either friday or saturday. Just for us to recharge I said lets get in the car and just drive.

My aunt (shes only like 6 yrs older than me) was kidding with me one time (though i dont know how much of a joke it was ) and she said ALWAYS keep a Huge cucumber in your fridge... when a guy starts pushing for it... show him the cucumber and say 'OK, but You first!!'

This might sound weird...but i was pretty sick around Christmas time so we did not have a 'love' life much. On Christmas Eve we are sitting on the couch just talking and he's like lets get a glass of wine each and listen to xmas music (i'm talking John Tesch here) and i was like okay (i was miserable before this) one glass for me and two for him and we were talking and really enjoying each others company.....one thing leads to another..and trust me i never expected it too...it happens...........but sometimes you need that little something....just grab a glass of wine (or water if you don't drink) and sit on the couch with the TV off and nice 'mood' music on...trust me....its amazing...it is a memory i will take for a long time to come.

I think spontaneity is the key. Try doing it in an off-beat place that you shouldn't really do it, like outside somewhere. Of course, make sure you can't get arrested for it!

I agree, spontaneity is the kicker. Surprise him with something, anything... a video you can watch together, a naughty note in his brief case, etc
Even everyday tasks and routines can be sexed up to entice him and make him see you in a new and different way... for example: cleaning the house? Wear something waaaay too revealing for cleaning, or something that shows just the right amount of stuff when you move around doing the chores... and act really slutty!
