If you were getting married at

a reception hall with only one wedding would you tip the coat room attendant and restroom attendants?

Yes, I would. But that that much because guests will be tipping them. So maybe $20 each.

We didn't have bathroom attendants, only a coatroom attendant. I didn't tip them myself, I figured my guests could tip them if they wanted to. Tho it was June so I don't think many people had coats on anyway.

I am not sure. I dont think I would. They get tipped by the guests. If you want to tip then somthing that would be nice to. Even somthing small $25 thats always a nice gesture.

Yes, a small amount of $$.

Since they are doing a service for you they should be tipped.

Yes, of course. I would NOT want a tip basket in the bathroom in that case. I would not want my guests to have to tip them.

I'd tip about $1 per guest. (split between the male / female attendant)

I would/will tip... I also intend to have a sign up that say grat. have been provided by the bride and groom... I do not think my guests should be digging for spare change in the bathroom at my wedding.......JMO

This is what I always planned on doing. I do not want my guests to shell out any money. But now that I think about it, I'm getting married at CHCC and there will be at least one other wedding (yay Lily!) going on at the same time.

How should we handle that?

Usually halls have dedicated coat rooms/bathrooms for each event as a way of preventing guests roaming all over the hall... speak with your hall about it, I'm sure you can put a cute sign in a pic. frame or something in your designated areas

Ugh not CHCC. There's only one large bathroom downstairs.

I don't mind tipping them but I'm not going to provided for both weddings!

Lily- are you around? What should we do?
