If you were Reuben from AI, wouldn't you..........

be totally pissed off that the other guy Clay got all the hype and stuff this past year? This is the first season I have ever turned on AI to watch, and I thought Clay was the winner for the longest time!

I've never watched AI but I have seen Clay all over the place and I love him.

Reuben is cool too but I definately have not seen him advertised as much as Clay.

I don't know, I would just be totally p-oed. So much for 'America' picking, huh? It's like, ANYONE can win, but it's really whoever the execs. wanted to begin with who get all the publicity.

Reuben was on AI the other night. I agree Clay is getting more publicity, but he's selling more records, and I don't think it's because of the publicity, he just has a lot of crazy fans. I also read somewhere that Reuben was giving his record label a hard time. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Reuben is not getting the publicity that Clay gets because of his weight. The guy could sing, but he doesn't have the look.

I have to admit, I am a claymate. he looked so cute tonight.

I definitely was a Clay fan. I just think he has a stronger voice. Plus he can walk across the stage with out breaking a huge sweat.

Looks wise I think Reuben is a HELLA lot better looking then Clay!!

It was the same w/ Kelly & that Tamyra chick. It used to make me sick when in every interview Paula had to mention Tamyra & the shock she felt that she was voted off.

WHERE'S Tamyra now???

Tamrya has a record deal with Baby Face labels. I don't know when her album is scheduled to come out though.

Funny enough my FH NEVER watched AI before this year (I got him hooked this season) and he also though Clay was the winner ... He says they act like Clay won all the time!

Then again Ryan Seacrest is such a DUMMY that last year I wasn't even sure I believe him when he announced the winner .. I mean, the guy stumbles on his words CONSTANTLY

I read somewhere that it is better to get to the top on AI but its not the best thing to win. They said that the recording contract that they offer everything marketing, videos, songs on albums everything is dictated by simon.

However if you get a record deal with another company like Clay did then you have a team of experts that put the album together and a tem of experts to markeet it, you are not stuck with just one person ideas.

However it is Reuben's fault. He has said all he wants to do is SING- he does not like to do interviews or anything PR related.

BIG Mistake- you have to market yourself- something he did not do.

Clay was no dummy- he made sure he was everywhere- doing interviews, showing up everywhere. That is how you make it in this business.

Reuben really boils my bananas with his 'soouthern hospitality' nonsense. Man wake up and smell the contract ink, you have wasted 10 minutes from your 15 minutes of fame. The music business is not all about singing...duh.....

well, keep in mind Reuben has a different auidence. Clay is your typical american pop boy. Reuben is more RnB. Imagine has alot to do with it and thats why on this years AI, they are caring about appereance. Sad but true. Clay has more fans because of the music style he choose (similar to AI show) as oppose to Ruben in doing more RnB and some rap.

Both are great singers

She got dropped from RCA..I didn't hear about a deal with Babyface..........

I don't know child. I am usually out of the loop. I just remember seeing her on a show a while back talking about having a deal with BabyFace and how working with him is going so far.
