Matthew is still having sleep issues. The last 2 nights he was up every hour or even less. Could he still be hungry? The doc told us he should be able to go through the night at his last visit.... he requires a pacifier and some patting to go back to sleep, but then is up again. It could be teething, but do you think he could be hungry too? He eats around 7:30, cereal, prunes and a bottle... should I still feed him at night? Thanks.

Emma didnt sleep through the night till she was 14 months. Yes, I still fed her throughout the night. SOME babies are truly hungry and some only wake due to habbit.

Emily has been sleeping the same way. Up every hour. We've been rubbing her head and belly and she'll go back. I took her to the dr. yesterday because I thought she had an ear infection. She was fine, the dr. said she was teething. So, she gave us Baby Advil. It worked great last night! It lasts eight hours!!!! Emily didn't get up at all. The baby Advil can be used after the baby turns six months old. When I went to work today a lot of the moms told me they used Baby Advil over tylenol because it lasted longer and the baby was much more comfortable. I hope that helps. Oh! To answer your question, I don't feed Emily during the night. She always falls back asleep. I feel if she was hungry she'd give me that hungry cry.

I put Alia to sleep at 11:30 everynight, and I usually feed her before. maybe he is still hungry. I started last week with a routine where I read a book for her and then I leave her in the crib and then she falls asleep during the whole night. I guess every kid is different. good luck.

Anthony gets up for a bottle every now and then. most nights he will sleep from 8-6 then at 6 i put him in bed with us and he sleeps till 7:30 (i know...thats bad but its my favorite time of the day). last night he got up several times so after a while i gave him a little 4oz bottle and he went right back to sleep. i would say twice a week i do that. i try not to.

Nick has his last bottle between 7:30 and 9:00 - he does not eat again until about 7:30am. The dr. also told us a while ago that he no longer needed to eat in the middle of the night. It has not been an issue thankfully, since he sleeps through the night. How much is your son eating throughout the day? Could it be that perhaps he needs to eat more often during the day?

Thanks ladies. Can I ask, how often did your dr. say you could give the baby advil to your baby? Is it a nightly thing or only when she continues to wake up?
Matthew I think is eating enough during the day, but maybe I'm wrong... how does this sound?
Wake up: 7 - 5 -6 ounces bottle 9 - cereal, fruit then naps, wakes at 10... bottle - 4-6 ounces 1 or so, veggie and bottle 4-6 ounces 4 or so bottle - 4 -6 ounces 7 or so- cereal, fruit and bottle, then goes to sleep.
Does this sound right? Should I give him something with his 4:00 bottle?

Rebecca is just 6 months today. She follow the same scheduled as you except we have been giving her both a fruit and veg no cereal at dinner and in every bottle we add 2-3 table spoons of cereal (She's on Nutramegin and that formunla is really thin since its predigested). That is in addition to the cereal in a bowl with her breakfast and lunch.
rebecca was gettting up at 4 or so and the doctor suggested we try to wake and feed her one more time befor she goes down for the night. That has worked for us. She falls asleep at around 7:30 then at around 9:30 or so we wake her and give her another 4-5 ounces. Sometimes she only drinks 3 but it seems to top her off and she sleeps until 6 am.
