Are you requesting they all wear the same shoes??

My bridesmaids all got the same short black dress and i requested they get red shoes of their choice. I'm not that picky as long as they are the same color.

Isn't it going to be really hard for girls whoa re shopping seperately to ensure they buy red shoes of the same shade? I mean, red varies sooooo much, especially if the shoes are different materials (patent, leather, satin, etc)

I think I am just going to have them wear silver shoes. I don't want to give them another expense.

yes they have to wear the same shoe. 2 of them have it already. im trying to find the same shoe with a smaller heel for the other 2 and i'm freaking over it.

Momzilla is the reason they have to be the same shoe

I 'm not. I wanted something fun and quirky, so I'm just requesting the buy pink heels , doesn't matter what shade of pink.

As long as they are red it doesn't matter to me....I'm not a picky bride. All shades of red go together. The only thing that matches are their dresses. Plus their bouquets will be different shades of red roses.

I don't care what shoes they wear. Probably will just have them wear silver. That goes with everything and really doesn't have different shades.

I'm having them wear white satin shoes t o match my dress but I don't care past that.

I was in a wedding two weeks ago where we had short purple dresses and bride just asked that we had fabulous shoes, that was it.

Every girl went all out to get just awesome shoes and it was such a hit! There are so many pictures of the girls in our shoes and every woman at the wedding would walk up to us to complement. The bride was estatic, so it ended up being really fun with us being in something different but with a purpose.

If you want them to wear the same shoe, find some options were you can tell them where to get it. like different websites that all have that shoe, etc.

I was in a wedding, and the bride did this-it was very helpful. The shoe was around 50 dollars too, so it wasn't too bad. but if someone asked me to spend 100 I think i'd freak out a bit lol

nope, i just requested that they all be some kind of fun animal print. I want them to be comfortable and spend what they want. I personally don't like things all matchy-matchy.

I have 1 bridesmaid and a Matron of Honor. They're wearing the same color (their choice, not mine) but different dresses and different shoes...

Yes -- I picked out 2 styles of shoes from the same brand (same color - 1 high heel and 1 lower option) that they can choose from.

But they are wearing different styles of short dresses. If they were all in the same style of dress, I probably wouldn't have cared as much.

Thanks for all the feedback...I was thinking I want them to all be in the same shoe bc I personally think it will look better but I think I might just be better off with just the same color and any style shoe

my bm's are wearing charcoal short dresses and black shoes...I told them as long as they are black, peep toe or d'orsay then they can get whatever they want....I just don't want some in strappy and others not because I think that would look bad. I personally like leaving what they wear(hair, jewelry, shoes, etc.) up to them because it lets their individuality shine through!
