speak to your hair stylist and ask her to create a timeline for you. That's what mine is doing, so all my girls will have their specific times to be at my parents house. Hopefully this will cause less confusion

Good point...I guess since technically they will be the first ones starting they will know how long makeup and hair will take...thks

My ceremony is at noon and we're getting ready at 9am. My bridal party is smaller so I'm not stressing plus FH refuses to see me before the ceremony. So I'll be missing my cocktail hour to make him happy.

ours starts at 3:00pm and I'm planning on getting dressed at around 1:00pm. That's when the photog will be arriving and I want him to get pics of me finishing my makeup and then getting dressed. We are also going to get pics with the BMs done at the house before the ceremony so we won't have to worry about them later on.

I still have to talk to my hair stylist and MUA about a time schedule for the day of but we'll do that closer to the date.

Ok, I had 2 hair girls (10 girls got their hair done and me), and 1 MUA (8 girls got their makeup done and me). Depending on the hair/makeup timeline I made I had the girls showing up about 20 minutes before their appointment to eat breakfast (I wanted everyone to eat because it was going to be a long day). I had my hair girl come at 7AM (set up and started at 7:30AM) and I allowed 45 minutes for each girls hair in the schedule. I had my MUA show up at 7:30 to start girls at 8AM and allowed 30 minutes for their makeup. This of course was long for the older woman.

Once I was finished I ran upstairs to get dressed and take some pictures with my sisters and SIL and then some pictures with my parents. We had to be out of the house by 1:45 and I think we left around 2. It's a lot of confusing with so many people in one area so make sure you allow for more time. If I did it over I would have started my makeup when there was some downtime and just had my MUA fix me before she left. We DEF rushed and I probably would have started everyone about a half hour earlier.

My ceremony was at 2:30 but we started getting ready at 8 am.... if i could change anything it would be to start getting ready at 7 am instead- just in case anyone runs late etc

only my mom, my sister and i will be getting our hair and makeup done at my house.
my ceremony is at 2pm and i think i am going to tell my MUA, who is also my Hair lady, to come at 8, only because she is always late and if she were to get there at 9, i would still be ok and my photographer is going to be there by 12:30 to get pics

We have to be at the Church at 3:15-3:20 it starts at 3:30

We are most likely going to start getting ready around 7-8am... Only cause we have 13 BMs, 2 moms and 2 flower girls!

Re: If your ceremony is at 2pm, what time would you start getting ready?

My ceremony is at 1:00 and we're starting at the hair salon at 6:30am.

My makeup artist (who will be coming to my home) said that she'll need like an hour for me and that the photographer will probably want me ready for him at around 10:30 (not dressed and ready, just ready for him).

So the tentative timeline is:

Wake up: 5:30am
Hair: 6:30-8:30am
Makeup: 9:00am
Starting the leaving process: 12:30
Get to the church: 12:45-12:50
