If your e-ring has a matching band, are you still buying an everyday band to match your FH's?

I love my e-ring set, and I want to wear them every day, but my FH wants us to have matching wedding rings. What would you do?

I will have both. I want to wear the matching one that my FH will have everyday. I will probably wear the matching e-ring band weekends. I've heard stories of brides getting the wedding band to match their e-ring and not getting an everyday one and wishing they did later on.

I think i'm getting both. I think long term your more likely to wear a plain band everyday, not a diamond band. I look at my mom and she usually wears her plain band because of the amount of cooking she does.

I got both! I like the idea that I have one that matches DH's and one that matches my E-Ring. I now wear it on my right hand (I had only planned to wear it to the beach, etc.) but I'm loving wearing it!

We originally wanted matching bands, then found out that there we can get a band made that would match my E-ring. DH decided that he liked the band matching my E-ring better than the matching bands that we were looking at - he wanted me to get the one that matched my E-ring.

My brother did that with his wife. She wears the ring she got married in on the lright hand and her matching set on the other.

I, for one, cannot marry in a band that has holes in it or that has stones. So I have to get married in a band that is a solid metal (doesnt matter which metal). I wanted a diamond band to switch into after the ceremony, but then we decided to wait a year to give FH time to save for a nice first anniversary present. There is no emergency - I don't need it right away.

The actual band I use for my ceremony will be 'borrowed' from my sister. However. I do want the band I wear for the first year to be either white gold or platinum to coordinate with the e-ring. I'm switching after the ceremony is over. FH wants yellow gold so NO we won't match.
