I was quoted $1100 for 20 uplights...I was looking to spend $800 TOPS
I don't think FH will go for this...
I am using a band and not a DJ so I can't get lighting through them.
Anyone get a good price? Or am I already getting a good one? I think I am the vendor is super nice...I'm just not sure it's in our budget.

did you ask your florist if they provide it? mine did, but then my hall installed uplighting so we're just using that.

I was quoted the same price for 20 lights as well. I was under the impression that it was going to be between 500-800 dollars. I was totally wrong...either way, We booked him!!!!

I dont remember how many lights we are getting. All I know is that it is all around the room

Thank you EVERYONE! I guess I am getting a good deal, so the next step is convincing FH. He was all in for uplighting, but I don't think he'll be all in for the price.

I was quoted $1000 for an entire room uplighting with changing colors at prestigelightingevents.com. Glenn was really nice and they have a lot of good examples online of their work.
Didn't know that florists sometimes offer it, good to know!!
I am holding off on this to do for a while (as you can see I'm a 2012 bride) because the rumor is my venue will be installing their own uplighting!! I certainly hope so!!

We are getting one wall of uplights (doors on two walls and the last wall is all windows) and it is included in our package at $50/light

Sorry love I can't help much cause ours in is in with the package so I don't know how much it is but usually they charge anywhere from $500-$1500 I think.
