If you're ever in the area, I suggest checking out.....

my uncle's new bar! It's called Fordham Road and it's in Northport off of Larkfiel Road, on Fordham Road. It's so cute, and it has a really nice atmosphere. I just thought I'd give him a little plug here I'm there all the time now cause it's a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

That sounds cool Rachel. My photgrapher is out that way... So next time I need to see her, I will drop in. Dale and I are always looking for new places to go. And as long as he has Sam Adam's we are in there now....

i live right around the block from there!!!! i always pass it on my way to work and it looks very cool. my fh and i were saying that we need to stop in one day.

Both FI and I grew up around there so we will definitly check it out when we are there next (all our friends are still in that area). Thanks for the info. We are always looking for new places to drink!

That's funny because there's a Fordham Rd here in the Bronx (Fordham University is on it..) and it used to be a very big irish neighborhood up until the early 90's (it also is a very big italian neighborhood and still is in some parts). Also big shopping district there. I thought maybe that's why he called it that but I see it's on a Fordham Rd.

Good luck to him and his bar - I don't know anyone out that way or I'd make it a point to tell them to stop in or go myself but if I ever find myself in the area I'll try to stop in.
