If you're hiring 12th Night Photographer

Does anyone know if the price/packages on 12th Night's website isn't up-to-date? I am having trouble with my current photographer (didn't sign a contract yet), therefore, started looking for someone else..

One of the LIW brides recommended 12th Night and paid $1500 for two photographers and spoke highly of them so, I asked about a similar package.

Yesterday, I called 12th Night and spoke with Dom. I scheduled an appointment and he quoted me $2300 for two photographers (5hrs + 8hrs overlapping) without proofs and albums. WOW! What a huge diffrence??!!.. His price went up that much??! Dom said that the price/packages on the website were old and those were pics taken with film. Then, he added... they've stopped taking pics with films for about two years.

Then, why are the prices still on the website? Strange.. no??!

I kept the appointment but, just feeling skeptical.

Has anyone heard of the 'old price on website' story?

Please let me know if you are paying more than what's posted on their website.. thank you in advance!

It's ok.. they are working on totally redoing the website.. so they can showcase each photog..
if you want the entire price list.. send me an FM.. and they are AWSOME..

they are wonderful...they are awesome...they are pretty honest guys.

I am sure it's a website issue. Dom mentioned to me that when they switched to ALL DIGITAL (no film) the prices went up because of the time and labor and all of the other additional costs associated with that.

anyway, I am paying about the same for a similar package...I wanted to pay for FANTASTIC pics, NOT an album, and that is what 12th Night delivers. definitely go see them. I can't say enough about what my experience has been like with them so far.

That quote sounds reasonable (the one they gave you).

Maybe the bride who had the lower price quote needed the photographers for a shorter period of time and maybe it was a different year.

My friend used them last year and her pics came out great. I also loved that when I went there, he remembered her. He also showed me pics of a wedding that he did at the same venue as mine.

ETA: JessicaM I love your engagement shots! We haven't taken ours yet. I'm still trying to convince my FH to do so.

ETA: My contract has higher prices than the ones on the internet. I didn't even look at them before I went since I had seen my friend's contract. The prices were higher than hers since my wedding was in '06 and hers was in '05 and I needed a photographer for longer.

You don't really get proofs,you get all your pictures on a CD for you to print what ever pictures you want and you can keep them for life. I really liked his deals because I wasn't huge into the album right away!!!1
