Do you have any kind of meal or dessert recipes or just tips to share? What soy products (cheese, ice cream, etc.) do you think taste the best and which ones are just plain disgusting?
Thank you SO MUCH.

Re: If you're lactose intolerant....
Lactaid ice cream is very very good!
The best soymilk in my opinion is 8th continent (even my soy mi;k hating Fh loves it), and the chocolate soy milk is to DIE for.
If you can't find 8th continent, Vitasoy is a good alternative!

Re: If you're lactose intolerant....
This is a good recipe for dairy free chocolate pie.
Place a small metal bowl over a saucepan with simmering water. Melt the chocolate and coffee liqueur in the bowl. Stir in vanilla. Combine the tofu, chocolate mixture, and honey in the blender jar. Liquefy until smooth.
Pour the filling into the crust and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until the filling is set.

I actually haven't tried them because I just found out not too long ago. But I'll look into the pills. Thanks!

Re: If you're lactose intolerant....
good luck with everything :) I know when FH found out he was trying to cut the dairy out...but then found the lactaid pills..totally worth it to him at least. Everyone though has different degrees and may not be able to handle the dairy even with the pills...give them a try when you can and let us know how you feel. :)

Re: If you're lactose intolerant....
With cheese not all chesses have lactose. I know like hard cheddar cheese (I was eating it today) says it has '0g of lactose per serving'
