IF you're looking for a DJ here's a recommendation
So glad we booked with Parties Alive.
I saw the owner, Rich at a bridal show at the Hilton in Melville. I was really impressed with his performance. My fiancé and I wanted someone that would get people dancing but still be low key at the same time. We weren’t really into DJ’s that were too much energy cause we thought they would kind of take over the evening. Plus my mom had really wanted a band and we wanted a DJ so I knew she was going to be really picky and I needed to find a great DJ. Rich’s performance was just enough energy and just enough laid back that I knew I wanted him right away. I called Parties Alive and easily made an appointment with Rich. He was great and worked with my fiancé and I to be within our budget and still give us exactly what we wanted. He didn’t push the extras on us or anything – he just gave us exactly what we wanted. They have some packages on their website and some demos so you should definitely check out the website if you want more info. We ended up booking them cause we got everything we wanted. A great MC with a DJ and we got live cocktail hour music – a steel drummer. I really loved Rich and I recommend Parties Alive 100% - I know I have nothing to worry about as far as music goes at the reception and everyone will have a great time.
