If you're making ribbon wands/petal cones and the like...how many?
How many are you making?
We were planning on making 50 pennants - 25 navy, 25 white. Do you think I can save myself a real long headache and reduce the number? What's the protocol on this? Try to make one for each person, or kind of like favors where it's one per couple?
Hard to say how many we expect at the ceremony too....

I'm sure I'm going overboard, but I purchased 40 sheets of scrapbook paper, which will make 80 petal cones. but those are smaller than pennants.....and you don't want people going nuts with waving them outside of church.....maybe 30 or 40 is a good number?
ETA- we're inviting around 210 to the reception, so I guess I was figuring on less than half coming to the church.

I only have 100 people, including kids. The girl who did my cones advised me that more than 20 might be too much - and I agreed. I don't need that many petals on my head!
I don't know about the wands though? I think you could get away with about 30!

To go with Tara's Yankees theme, she's doing pennants- like you'd see for sports teams (triangular banners)- they will be in blue & white.....can't wait to see them Tara!!

that's something to think about...lol, I don't want to be covered in petals either!! good thing the paper was cheap, maybe I'll just make 50 instead of all 80!! At least I know I have room for mistakes when I'm making them!!

I only just saw your replies! Thanks Ladies- good point Helen, I don't wanna go too overboard, especially when the pennants aren't exactly teeny-tiny.

I think I had like 40 petal cones. I had a lot of people go to the church.. it was a Sunday. I think it was a good amount. It depends on what your expecting .

I have 175 guests and I made about 35-40 Petal Cones. You don't want to go overboard with that and your florist will tell you the same. The women will most likely grab it and the people sitting in the isles.
