are you going to have an after party? if it ends at 5 on a saturday, will you keep the party going? think about it, we'd all LOVE to keep partying, but will it be official? how will you let people know about it, espescially if you are getting marreid somewhere that doesnt have a bar and isnt a hotel. Will you pre-arrange to get to a bar? and if your guests have been drinking, would you feel comfortable having them drive someplace else?

we are in the same situation, our wedding ends at 630. i would like to go out after, but we also have family from overseas here to so we might go to a relative house and continue the party or somewhere we are still deciding and it also depends how tired we are!!

exactly! i wouldnt want to dis-invite people, but if you're going to go to a bar in nyc perhaps, how do you keep your mom and grandparents from going? lol i mean that in a nice way. what if you jsut want to party with a select few people...hopefully everyone will be exhausted, and you and DH can 'run into some people' at yoru hotel bar that night...haha

We are having an after party at the OOT guests hotel (marriott) which is also where we are staying... So everyone who wants to party is welcome... theres cabs to take people locally back .. and plenty of room to crash...
Should be awsome! I was going to do a local bar... however.. im not ruling it out like 11 pm! hahah
note my wedding ends at 5 pm... so we all might just chill then go to the hotel bar THEN go out with just us 'youngin's ' later on if we are feeling adventurous... howevr im sure ill be sleeping soundly by 11 pm hahaha

My FSIL is having a little after party at her mom's house whiuch is 2 minutes away from hall. I have been to weddings that have after party at the hotel bar too.

Mine ends at 5:30, some people have said you can meet at a bar and hang out. Or maybe one of your parents want to have something at the house. I know I'm going to be exhausted after all that so having a huge party may be too much.

Mine ends at midnight and I'm having an afterparty. Our hotel lets you rent out hospitality rooms, and the rate is really reasonable. We'll probably buy some booze, chips, etc ... for the room, and encourage people to BYOB.

Yup, our wedding ends at 6 and we are having an afterparty in the hotel restaurant and bar. Then we may even have people back up to some rooms for more parting

our wedding ends at 5 p.m. on a sunday. sooo...we are going to use our OOT guest hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) and have those who want to keep the party going---come along and chill at the bar with us! We'll be staying there the night of the wedding--so after the partying is done--we'll just head upstairs to the hotel room

MY GF's wedding ended at 7:30 so we all went back to the hotel and partied at the bar. It was cool as she stayed in the gown the entire night and we were able to get some really great candid pics of her and her groom
