If you've been on a Mediterranean Cruises (or will), I would love your a help

FH and I have booked a 12 day Mediterranean Cruise for our HM. We're now starting to plan our day trips. Our cruise starts and ends in Barcelona, Spain, and will be stopping in Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; Corfu, Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Livorno (Pisa/Florence), Italy; Naples, Italy; Venice, Italy; Villefranche (Riviera, Monaco), France.

Did you book the excursions through the cruise line?

Was it worth it?

Any suggestions on what we MUST see are appreciated too.

TIA

I never went to the Mediterranean but I have been to the Caribbean twice and Bermuda once. We never did the excursions on our cruises because they were cheaper if we did them alone. The only place we did the excursion was in Belize bc we heard bad things about the island.

What cruise line?

We couldn't do Celebrity because we wanted to go on the cruise a couple of days after the wedding. Their cruise was a week or two after. I have heard that their cruises are good.

We're looking into the shore excursions because we'll be in a foreign country and don't speak the language.

That is a good idea since you will not understand anyone.

Did Megan book your wedding at Flowerfield?

Yes. She is so sweet. We have our final menu on Sunday with her. Wow can't believe it's creeping up so soon

I love Flowerfield but my date was booked already so we went with Land's End. I LOVE the cocktail room!!

Me too. There weren't that many days left in October when we booked and I really wanted October 2004.

I was looking for a place that had both an excellent indoor and outdoor ceremony location. My first hcoice is outside by the gazebo. But if it rains, I will be very happy in the atrium. The bride and bridal party enter over the bridge.

Lands End is beautiful also. Lovin Ovin had a vender event there back in March (I think) that FH and I went to. I only didn't look there because I was trying to stay somewhat close to my parent home.
