If you've been well under your min....

If you've been well under your min....

what have they thrown in?
Looks like we'll be at least 25 people below our minimum (we have a 35% decline rate at this point), so I am wondering what I should anticipate, or if I am SOL and should plan on laying out an extra $4k for nothing.

They offered to drop our minimum by five people and said that was the best they could do. But Danfords is #1 on my $h!t list and has been for a while and it's clear that we're paying for food and atmosphere and clearly not things like good communication among other things so I can't speak for other RHs.

Is it an option to invite co-workers?

People who just didnt make the list but you would love to have?

Is it that hard to get last min people? We have a min of 175 and dont expect too many no's. But our backup has always been co-workers. They all know we would love to invite them but just cant invite everyone. So if we fall below the min we can open it up to them and say circumstances have changed and we are able to invite them.

Is this somethi g that might work?

We had both invited the majority of our co-workers. I did send out a few emails last night to people we are friends with from our car club. I just said: We know this is last minute, but we’re wondering if you might like to come to our wedding? We were recently able to extend our guest list and would love to have you join us, if you are available.
We also called a few family members who have teenage children and invited them (only 4 additional people).
I hope people aren't offended and that some of them can come. 25 spots is a lot to fill.
