I'm wondering, how long afterward did it take for you to get your shower thank you's out? I had my shower on Sunday, and I'm wondering what a reasonable amount of time would be. I've started working on them already, but I have so many to write out, so would a couple of weeks still be okay? I don't want people wondering where their thank you is! I guess I could send out a bunch at a time as I finish them.. So how long did it take you to get yours out?

I think a couple of weeks is fine. It took me about a month.

It took me about 2 weeks. I did them in stages. I sent out my BP TY's 1st. Then went down the list. I gave my mom and FMIL their's last since I went out and bought them special cards.

just had my shower saturday---SOO FUN!!! i am going to start with bridal party thank yous then take small chunkc of time to get them all out... i wouldn't wait more than a month though...seems kinda rude...

I was a little slow in sending my, but I sent my 2 weeks after the shower. I would say a week is good. You dont want to send them out to close to your invitations.

It will be about 3 weeks for me. Usually I like to send thank you's right away...but I'm going away so I won't get to it for a while.

Within the month I think is acceptable....me on the other hand is very anal with thank you's and getting back to people etc...My Shower was this past Saturday and my thank you's went out in the mail this morning....my hand is still hurting from writing out over 80 personalized notes!!

I'm a bit anal.....My shower was this weekend and I already sent them out!!!
I had a REALLY SLOW day at work on MOnday so I sat on the beach and wrote them all out!!!!
My hand hurt But it feels good to get them out!
I would say about 2-3 weeks max to get them out!!

Unless you had an enormous shower with 100 guests or something, I would say you really need to get them out within 1-2 weeks.

a few weeks is fine! It took me a while...sadly we had issues w. the PO so most ppl didnt even get them at all!!

My shower was 4/7 and they were in the mail 4/10 and 4/11. I knew if I didn't do them right away I would have probably not have found the time to do them ! ! We are moving, my daughter's communion is 5/5 and the wedding is 6/2 so I have a LOT on my plate.
I dunno, but we seem to be weekend twins!! My shower was Sat and my wedding is 7/26 I didn't write out my thank yous yet because I need to get the invites addressed first. My FMIL is gently hinting that I should get them out this week, but I don't think it's gonna happen... oops... I think that u should just take you time and get them out within 3 weeks. That's just me though

That's so funny! It's like you're one day ahead of me for both the shower and the wedding lol! Yeah I totally agree about invitations... I was stuffing mine tonight... no way are they going out this week! I am so stressed over them. I'm gonna try to get them out the first week of May. Same for the thank you's.
