If I am having a jacket for the invite to go in, is it necessary to have an inner envelope?

no i don't think so, actually my invitation person told me a lot of people are not doing inner envelopes anymore unless you do something really classic

i didnt do inners and i just have a flat invite.... theyy really arent necessary... just a waste of paper imo

ETA: if you could see the invite through the 1 envelope, then this is the only time i would do an inner... my envelope is brown and def not see through... its also pretty thick and sturdy

i think you don't need the inner envelope. i'm not doing it. it just seemed like a waste of paper to me :o) JMO

Question: If you don't do an inner, do you just write Mr. So and So and Guest on the outer then?

I'm doing pocketfolds so won't be doing an inner...

That's how I'm addressing it since there is no inner envelope.
