anyone's school closed today? I was hoping for a snow day but got a delay instead. I'll take it!

I was hoping we'd close, too! And considering how it's snowing right now, i'm pretty annoyed. But hey, you guys NEVER get a delay, so I'm very happy for you

What a joke....2 hours :( Like you said, better than nothing. I think too b/c of that MOST parents will just keep their kids home. It should be a quiet day.

I hope it's a quiet day! keep them home! If I were a parent I'd do the same! (I know a teacher shouldnt' say that!)

This year it seems we're straying from what your district does because you don't close enough My headmaster has been going by the surrounding districts since that's where most of our kids come from

I'm in W. Suffolk (N shore) and my home district and most of the surrounding ones are closed - a couple have 2 hr delays.
FH works in western nassau and they didn't even have a delay!!!! He left his house in Kings Park at 6am, only got to Elmont at 8. That SUC%S!!!
