book a night and time for the rehearsal with the church?

U might have to wait atleast 2 months - 3months before. It is ok to call now to see if anyone has the catering hall for the day u want to do the RD.

I have a little more than 3 months and am going to start looking for a place for RD.

Sorry you guys misunderstood me. I was asking only about calling the church, not the dinner. the dinner we are doing at his parents house.

I booked my rehersal with the church in April for my October wedding. I did that only because there is another ceremony on the same day as mine and I wanted to make sure that I got the time/date that I wanted. I didn't have any issues from the church re: calling so early.
