Hi Ladies, I just saw a post from earlier regarding everyone’s profession and it really made me think a bit about my life. About 4 months ago I made an internal transfer at work for what I thought would be a good change for me, but here I am 4 months later and I’m miserable! My old position that I left is still available, and part of me wants to try and go back, but then there’s a part of me holding where I am and I can honestly say that the reason why is because of the money I make where I am now. I know for a fact that if my wedding wasn’t approaching so soon I would have gone back already, but considering its next year, I’m a bit nervous making the move. Any advice? It’s like I’m able to stick the job out a bit longer, even though it’s the same thing everyday, but it’s just the people I work for. I went from a family orientated office to now what I call a cut throat atmosphere. It’s like everybody over here is walking on egg shells around the main boss because he’s like a ticking bomb ready to explode for absolutely no reason. Have any of you ever been in this position before? And if so how did you handle it?

I totally hear you!!! Sounds like my office! You should (as corny as it sounds) make a pro/con list so you can really compare what life is like in your currnet position vs. what your old position was like. Consider will your old position be exactly the same as it was??? What was the reasoning behind you transferring in the first place?? You mentioned that you make more money now and it's helpful for your upcoming wedding. Would you be financially ok if you went back???
Just spend some quality thinking time with yourself and FH and the right choice will come to you. Good luck sweetie.

Thank you for all that you said, and believe it or not I already did a list to weigh out my options and there is really nothing holding me back from making the move again other then the money. Don't get me wrong I will still be able to wing things, but they wouldn't be as easy as they are now.
