One of my best friends from college is getting married this October. I asked her to be one of my BMs, but she hadn't asked me because she wasn't going to have a bridal party; she was only going to have her sister as MOH. Well, apparently after I asked her to be in my wedding, and we were talking about BM dresses and photos and bachelorette parties and so on, she became inspired, and she talked to her FH and now they're having a pretty large bridal party - 6 girls and 5 guys. Wow! Anyway, I'm a first-time bridesmaid! I'm really looking forward to it as 'practice' for the inner workings of a wedding. Yay!

Oh, and extra good news: I'll get to choose my own dress! She's choosing the color (probably brown - it's an October wedding) and said we'll all go to David's Bridal one day and pick out whichever dresses look best on each one of us. Such a relief to not be stuck in, like, a halter top or something (that I'd look terrible in).

That's great...I have a closet full of bridesmaid dresses in my basement that I will never wear again!!! Lol...I have at least 10.

I was a first time BM/MOH in my sisters wedding this past summer. And now Im a BM in my friends wedding as well as my future SIL's wedding! Wedding Mania as we call it! :)
