im a lil sad.

i think about my grandparents pretty much daily.. my dad's parents both just passed away a few months ago.. within 6 weeks of each other. and i still cannot get over the fact that theyre really gone... its so weird.. they are the closest people i have ever lost before.. and knowing them and seeing them all the time from the time i was born and now all the sudden theyre not there anymore is so hard. and they wont be at my wedding.. or see my daughter grow up.. or meet my future children.. its just really sad. i just needed to get that out. thanks for listening.

Awww..sweetie :( I lost all of my grandparents..and two of them were a few months apart just like you. I know its so hard, and there's really no words to say to make it better..but just keep them alive in your heart by the memories that they left you with !!!

Remember, everytime they pop into your head, they're thinking of you too!!

aw im very sorry thats hard..my grandparents are both in their 90's so we really don't know how much more time they have left..its hard because i don't know if they'll see me get married either..my moms side both grandparents are deceased..so i know how you feel..my moms mom died at 62! when i was born..so i don't even remember her

Its hard to all of a sudden have someone around all the time and then not anymore, for us adjusting was so hard, we still say 'go to grandmas and get...'

I am sad as well that my children will not know them, will not get to experience my grandmothers cooking or FHs grandmothers love. But people cant live forever. I plan on always having pictures of them around the house and always telling them stories - if they can't meet them - they are going to know ALL about them!

the hardest thing right now is that they will not be at our wedding - but i know they will be in spirit.

aww, soo sorry for your losses too.. and thats def a great idea.. my daughter remembers them, so i will make sure she always does, and she will be able to tell her siblings about them too..

i know it is hard losing ones you love, especially at a time of celebration when you want them to be there
just know that they really arent 'gone', they are just in a different place and be happy you had them here as long as you did
