I'm a little concerned.....

When is everyone scheduled to have their first fittings? The bridal shop told me the end of May and now they are saying one month before the wedding. Is that enough time?

My first fitting is on June 2nd, which is exactly 2 months before my wedding. It was originally for the beginning of May, but I thought that was too soon... How many fittings did they say you would have all together? I wouldn't want to wait that long for a fitting... I would rather have a couple of fittings, but I guess if they can get it all done in that short of time, then it would be ok.

I asked this question before! My salon also told me one month, but I had a gut feeling to go earlier. I went about 7 weeks before and the dress was too small!!!! It has to be let out, hemmed, bustled, straps shortened, pad put in...a lot of work!! My second fitting is next wednesday. HTH!

I got the call yesterday that my gown is ready, the wedding is on 10-26-07 and they set up my first fitting for 8-3-07.

I had my first fitting at the end of April. My wedding is 6/30. I think you should do a month and a half just to be safe.

I think one month before is too soon.. I had 3 fittings one end April, The May 1st, them May 15th.. I think mid June would be great for you to start

The bridal shop told me that also. I may go and make an appointment the end of July. Depending on how busy our summer is.

i just went tonight for my first fitting... and my wedding is June 29th.. 5 weeks before is perfect... if you go too soon, you can change size (smaller or bigger) better off getting fitted as close to the wedding date as possible..they know what they are doing!
