im a little confused???

i remember some girls talking about being picked as the third prize winner??

well friday night i received a call about 8-830pm ans the girl said i was chosen as the third place winner and i qualified for the laser hair removal and make up trial...blah blah blah blah...i cut her off and said i couldnt talk right now...

funny thing is.....i neer entered anything??? what the hell was that and how did they find me???

I think they are desperate for customers right now. They probably got your name from a list of registrants from the bridal expo. My sister's and I went and they were giving us a very good deal but we just didn't have the money to do it right now. The 300 won't get you anything completely free.

Oh my goodness. Im just seeing this post. I got the same call followed by emails. I really thought I'd won something. I even emailed the girl back. I kept thinking well that's great that I won but I dont need laser hair removal.

seriously, tell her that her gig is up and everyone wants their prize!!!!! bc we all have been selected for 3rd prize......wow any 2nd place winners out there???

That lady called my mom's house looking for me...my sister was so excited when she called to tell me...I was like I know better-- lol.

I had the same thing happen to me - major 'guerilla' marketing. Some chick from American Laser Centers contacting me persistently via email and phone that I had won $300 bucks off a laser treatment. I got so annoyed after a while, I fired off the email below to them.


'Hi Theresa,

Thank you for taking the time to e-mail and call me about American Laser Center services and coupon. Recently, I had a facial and the Aesthetician gushed over how beautiful my skin is and how well I take care of it. Also, I'm not very hairy and have no need for laser hair removal or ALC's services at this time.

Please remove my contact information from ALC's list at this time. If I become interested in ALC's services in the future, I will not hesitate to contact you.'

That was a couple of months ago and haven't heard from them since. Feel free to use it if you would like ... GOOD LUCK

I've got that call two months in a row. I figured it was a scam so I just deleted it off the machine. I'll use that e-mail next time though.
