I'm a little nervous

So I am the first to be married on my side....it's kind of a big deal. My dad has decided on a father/daugter dance song. Which he will not tell me about. He says I'll find out the day of the wedding and to bring tissues. I have a few songs in mind I was thinking of. I'm not a fan of surprises. Not to sound all bridezilla but I know just about everything that's going on with the wedding.....so I am nervous as to what song he chose!

Theres nothing to worry about, you should have enough trust in your father to pick the perfect father/daughter dance. Obviously it is a song that means alot to him, which in turn should mean alot to you.

Nothing to freak out about. For many of us, this is our first wedding too. Plus I am also the first in my family to get married and also among my close friends.

i understand that you're nervous. it's natural.

but try to think of it this way... he loves you so much, and wants to make things so perfect that he has already picked a song. DO YOU REALIZE HOW HARD IT IS TO GET ANY MAN TO HELP PLAN A WEDDING?

if your dad has already put this much effort into it, i doubt he would do anything 'stupid'.

if it will make you feel better, have your mom find out what song it is and give approval by proxy.

i know he wouldn't do anything dumb....I've just had a hand in everything so far. I trust him! I just hate surprises....no matter for what or from who. But he's got his heart set on it. Thanks

Then let him have this moment. It probably means more to him that he can surprise you with it. If its this important to him, just let him do it all on his own and without any trouble. You can't stress out about every little detail this much, you will drive yourself crazy.

Actually I think that is amazing that he picked a song for your two to dance a very special dance at your wedding. This means a lot to him and it is so nice that he got involved like that. To me that is SO special and I would not care what song he picked. Just the fact that he thought of a song, pictures the 2 of you dancing to it on your wedding day, and wants it to be special and surprise you with it would mean so much to me (but I am overly sentimental like that). I think it is beautiful!

as i read this, i got teary thinking of me and my dad dancing at my wedding.

the funny thing is, the dj didn't play the song i picked. BUT IT WAS STILL BEAUTIFUL. you can dance the macarena, and it will still be special.... ok, i took it too far with the macarena, but you know what i mean.

btw, don't worry so much... there will be bigger things to worry about as this goes on. this is a good thing

i know whatever it is it will be special. maybe nervous wasn't the wording....anxious to see what it was. im excited...and i know it will be totally emotional.
