I'm a little sad......

Why does it feel like lately no one cares about the 06'ers who recently got married? Is it me? I find that no one shows interest anymore..not like they did for the Summer Brides anyway ...and it's pretty sad. I used to look forward to coming here and posting away..but now when I post..I'm lucky if I get a response. I'm defenitely not trying to offend anyone..but I can honestly say it's not fun on here anymore for me.....and that makes me sad.

I'm definitely interested! I like seeing all the reviews and your inputs based on what happened at your own weddings. Don't feel that way!

i know how you feel.

i think it's because a lot of 06ers are spending most of their time being wives and becoming mommies. which is wonderful, but also a little lonely for those of us who 'just became wives'.

I'd love to hear from you. I'm getting married next Oct. and I'd love to hear what you did for your wedding that was fall like. And what you may not do again if you were to do it all over.

I have to admit, the boards have not been as fun lately.

I am still here! Unfortunately though this is what happens to the late in the year brides - so many of the earlier brides leave the boards and do not see everyone through. I am not sure why it happens really..

Anyway, congratulations to you and all the other 'late' 2006 brides!!

I got married in April and I'm still here. Don't be sad, even if they don't post, they ARE looking at your pics and are happy for you. Look how many views your posts have!!

I LOVE READING/SEEING 06 weddings! I always lurk on Mondays in 06 to see pictures...but I never want to post in 06 - I am afraid people will be mad, I usually only post if it is on BHB or the review.

if it makes you feel any better, i dont really get responses either and im an 07er!! haha. i always look at your posts because your wedding was absolutely gorgeous and i was looking for ideas. same thing with the 06ers. they have the best advice!

I joined LIW in August and the boards were much busier than....maybe there's a lot of teachers that were on here all the time in the summer, who are now working? that's just my theory! Or it could just be that the 06 brides are in newlywed mode, and maybe don't even want to think about weddings for a while??

Me personally, I'll probably go through some kind of planning withdrawal so I know I'll still be coming here after I'm married!!

I'm constantly on the 06 boards looking at pics, ideas & stuff. I liked seeing pics of your wedding and posted comments as well.

I think that a lot of the earlier 06 brides are busy having munchkins, getting ready for thankgiving and Christmas as well.

The boards were a lot more active during the summertime because I think it was midway through the year. I know that having my wedding in March is a bit more difficult because I'm one of the earlier ones of 07.

Continue posting here and helping us 07'ers on our way.

I'm usually on LIF, and I came across your post. As a fall 05 bride, I noticed that the same thing happened last year. Since the high season is summer, most of the brides are all ready married by September. That being said, most of the traffic slows down for the fall and winter months. So please dont take it personally. Unfortunately, its just the way it is.
