I'm a moron...come in for a laugh AT me!

So, I dropped my brother off at school this morning, like I normally do, and then drive to the express bus stop a few blocks away in Bay Ridge (NYC girls - 75th and Shore) So, I find a parking spot, park my car, take the key out of the ignition and put the keys in my bag.

I get up, get out of the car, put my sweater on (b/c it's brick on the bus) and a bus drives by going the opposite way, and I freak out, close the car door, and low and behold....EVERYTHING is in the car.

FABULOUS right?

All the doors are locked, windows are down, and I'm just standing there looking at the car in disbelief (as if staring was somehow going to open the doors.)

I end up walking to my father's store which is 2.5 miles away to get his car keys and house keys to drive to my house and get the extra keys to my car (while I'm sweating balls of course.)

I drive back, drop his stuff off, and take car service back to my car, finally open the car with the extra key to drop the key UNDER the car. Now, I'm laying across the avenue under my car trying to reach my key under the car. Like this day can get any better?

Finally got the key, opened the door (again) got in my car and decided to drive into work b/c it'll take me 15 minutes. Got to work in one piece - smelling like sweat and arse...

It's ONLY TUESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG Christine...maybe you shouldn't be on the TRADING FLOOR today...you might single-handedly send us into a Great Depression!

we all have moments like that

I attribute it to bride brain- I am hoping to get my sanity back after the wedding

I have done some DUMB things lately!

One of the 'boys' just put a paper sign under my name that says 'If you're here to give me a hug, then do so. If not, bugger off, and leave me alone.'

Wow Christine... When it rains it pours right??? Well if your morning is THAT bad, then the day can only get better, right?

Im hoping for a better day.. Its still only 10:30am

Wow, Christine, that's horrible. BUT, it can only get better.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!! Just remember real friends point and laugh when something funny happens to you, that's what friends are for, to embarass and love you.

You're a total trip!

christine, I did that once, freaked out, called AAA and then realized I had put my spare key in my purse for exactly this reason.

I walked into the door today
My mom decided to lock the sreen door today when she never does. I go to open it thinking IT'S OPEN and banged right into it.
Mom comes running out ' what happened'
all I had to tell her was ' you locked the door'

Too funny! I once locked myself out of the car (keys in ignition) and had to take a bus to my mom's house to get the spare key to my apartment, take a bus to my apartment, get the spare key to my car, take a bus back to my car .... uggh! I feel your pain.
