im a nervous wreck........NWR

I had started getting pins and needles and sharp pains in forearms and lower legs....I had a cat scan there was nothing wrong with my neck so my doc sent me to a neurologist....due to the fact that there is a history of MS in my family I had to have an MRI of the brain....they didnt do contrast in the first one ...but it should possible scaring/lesions the could be from MS ...so I have to go tonight for an MRI with contrast......I cant stop shaking.........

I know this must be scary for you , but remember , try not to get all worked up until there is definetly something to get worked up about

this is similiar to what i went through~it ended up being a pinched nerve in my brain stem (causing pins and needles and numbness throughout my left side), not as bad as ms, not good either, but figure i would share

what did they do it for it???

they gave me muscle relaxers and meds for pain management since my left arm felt like a 50lb sac hanging on me~but the big thing was physical therapy for about 4 months~now it's good but gets triggered by high stress, then its back to the meds so i don't lose use of my left arm like i did before~

my aunt was just diagnosed with ms. i hope your mri goes well and we will all be praying for you! let us know how it goes

I hope everything turns out okay!!

There is so many things it could be so try not to freak out until they know.

I lost partial use of my left leg for months because of pinched nerves in my back (looooooong story) so yeah, try not to think the worst
