I'm a new member and I need some help...

Hello and congratulations to all brides to be.
I need some advice on bands and music for my reception. I'm in the process of deciding on the band, but I could use some outsider opinions! Has anyone ever heard of or used any of these 3 bands? 'Heart and Soul' 'Hot Pursuit' and 'Skyline'
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

I don't know anything about the bands, I am using a DJ but I just wanted to say Congratulations and Welcome aboard!!

I saw Heart & Soul perform at a showcase and they blew me away! SO talented... they were really incredible!!! I haven't seen the others so I have nothing to compare them to, but I was definitely impressed by how talented they were.

I'm using a band, but have not heard of the three you mentioned. We contacted about 25 bands to see if they were available on our date, then requested CDs or videos to listen to them, then narrowed it down and saw a few showcase. We booked Primetime Live, they are one of the LI Paramount Bands.

I've never seen Hot Pursuit, but FH and I LOVED Skyline (they were booked for our day). We also loved the other bands under the Skyline Orchestra name. As far as Heart & Soul, they're also amazing!! FH's brother AND sister used them for their weddings, and I just saw them again at a friend's wedding last weekend.
You can't go wrong with either. The reason we didn't use H & S was that I wanted my own band, as I said, they had been used twice already in Fh's family, all within the past 2 1/2 years!
H&S are also a bit more expensive than Skyline, I think around $2000 more.

ETA: You are the first person I've heard of who is having their wedding at The Woodlands! We looked and really liked it, just decided to go another way. But great choice!

Congratulations and welcome. The only band I have seen at a showcase were Fantasia and the lead female singer was awesome as well as the band.

i'm using Code Bleu for my wedding - they're in the same Skyline Group...and I love them!!! I've heard gret things about them also.
And I saw Heart and Soul at a showcase once and they were really good also - that company has a lot of great bands too.
You can't go wrong with either....good luck!

Fantasia is awsome... and they are really friendly.... Sometimes fran isnt but.. I love paul and Joe! They keep everyone up all night!! They did my friends wedding and my sister knows them well too! Good luck and welcome aboard!
