Im about to go home....

Im about to go home....

First of all Ive been feeling crappy all weekend, coughing and feeling sick, and I forced myself out of bed, got on the train and came to work....

I think Im gonna play hookie and call my coworker and tell him Im going back home. I cant do this till 5:00 today....

I hate doing stuff like this though, i feel guilty. Ladies give me the b a l l s to tell them im leaving!!! (im such a weenie I know!)

I'm sorry you feel sick. But if you feel horrible and can't concentrate on work go home! Don't put yourself through hell because you're afraid of what they're going to say. Feel better!

I think they would rather you get some rest so you can feel better and do your best at work tomorrow! I say go home and rest. Also they wouldn't want any of your coworkers to get sick! My bosses always tell me if I feel that awful it is more important to rest and get better! Def go home sweetie and have some soup and tea and take a nap!

Thanks guys! I just emailed my partner and told him Im going home. But of course I decided to do some work before going home which is gonna end up taking an hour to finish....blehhh

I am sure that your boss and co-worker would rather you go home if you are ill. Just tell them that you are feeling terrible and that you need a day of rest and will be back tomorrow.

I was thisclose to not coming in today either since we got home so late from the Mets-Yankee game… but since I knew I was off tomorrow I ****** it up and came in.
