To a dress, is this normal? I don't want to end up with 'dress regret'! When do I need to decide by for a June wedding?

I am feeling the same way. I have been to three bridal salons and each time I find another dress I like. I can't seem to decide what style I want to be in.
I am also getting married next June and my goal to buy a dress by the beginning of September. I am giving myself the summer to keep thinking about it and looking around.

I bought a dress at the first place I went to and kind of regret it. I love my dress, but I can't help but wonder what could've been lol. Plus, dressing shopping is so much fun!

I bought the second dress I tried on and can't wait until it comes in so I can put it on again. I think that if you don't get that FEELING when you put it on, you will regret it. Wait til you get that WOW - you won't regret buying it then

I went through that... but I keep talking about the dress now as if it's mine so I'm going to commit soon. I'm getting married in April and will order it in the next few weeks so you have a few months.

I am getting married in February and I went in January to try on dresses. I found a bunch of dresses that I liked online and I found one that I had been obsessed with. I tried on 2 dresses and the 'obsessed' dress was my third and I didn't put another one on after.
Well anyway, like I said I ordered it in late Jan, beginning of Feb and it's already in. SO, I guess depending on what kind you order etc it might take a long time or a shorter time to get in. They can definitely rush a dress if they need to. Wait till you find the right one, you'll know!!

me too! i don't even want to start looking until october so it's a year out - i worry that if i find something now, something better will come along :(

This is exactly how I feel which is why I am waiting until Oct (my year mark) to start shopping as well.

I agree - I wouldn't worry about making the final decision until you hit the 9 month mark. I bought my dress in April about 10 months before my wedding. The alterations department was like 'oh good! You're an early bird.' So I think you have plenty of time to shop around.

I am going dress shopping tonight and am freaking our because I have no idea which style I like! I like so many things and am feeling the same! I dont want dress regret! I also don't want to drag my mother and sisters to 100 different dress places because I cant decide!

Don't think like that. Something better for who? There are thousands of wedding dresses in the world you will never even see. When you try on 'THE ONE' you will know and when you do know buy it and you're done. No one is going to say 'oh I saw a dress in a magazine that was better than hers.' LOL You are going to look amazing no matter what and the only way you will look 'perfect' is if you get a dress you feel beautiful in and one that you can picture being in all day at one of the best days in your life! Relax and just have fun finding the ONE dress that you absoultely love everything about. It doesn't matter how many new styles come out after.

Don't think like that. Something better for who? There are thousands of wedding dresses in the world you will never even see. I don't really take anyone else's opinions into account, whether it's for wedding planning or other. I don't want to jump the gun and choose something only to see something better *for me* Prime example? Dresses I saw when first engaged were what I thought of as PERFECT, and now better dresses have popped up that I would choose before any of my old choices. I'd rather wait until it's really time. Going shopping isn't fun for me so forcing myself to look for dresses now isn't having fun. I'd hate to buy a dress and then get a second one or be unhappy - just knowing myself and being careful!
