im an idiottt

Soo. FH and I got my ering and wedding band(s) from a place in the MALL (I know dumb, right?) I should have known not to do it but I am so in love with it! The guy just up and left and I never got any certificate or anything. The guy claims it is insured but I have to send it out for a WEEK to get appraised. I love my ring but I'm thinking maybe we should look for another one? What should I do :'(
